Dr. David Soo has performed in Australia, Asia, and in Europe as a solo recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist. He has had the privilege of performing before several important dignitaries, including the Honourable Alexander Downer AC, the Honourable George Brandis QC (Australian High Commissioners to the United Kingdom) at Australia House, the late Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II at Goodenough College, the Lord and Lady Mayor of the City of London at the Old Bailey, and the then Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib tun Razak at the Kuala Lumpur Convention and Exhibition Centre.

David has performed in many significant concert halls including Australia House, the Barbican Concert Hall, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Goodenough college, the Old Bailey, Haikou Town Hall, the Kuala Lumpur Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Melbourne Recital Centre, and the ABC Studios in Adelaide and Melbourne. He has been invited to perform sold-out performances at the Bloomsbury and Chobham Festivals (UK). His performances have been heard on ABC Classic FM, New Zealand Classic FM, Fine Music Broadcast Networks throughout Australia, and FMITE Spanish Radio.

David has been generously supported by the Australian Music Foundation, the Mary Elizabeth McComas Trust, Glenn Riddle, Musical Society of Victoria's Lim Koon Yaw Travelling Scholarship and the Youth Music Foundation of Australia. David is a recipient of the Australian Government's prestigious Research Training Programme where he completed his PhD in Piano performance at the University of Melbourne with Ian Holtham, Melanie Plesch, and Donald Nicolson.

David studied piano with Glenn Riddle and Joan Havill.
